Senior Solution Architect · Dynamics 365 · since Damgaard

Damgaard. Axapta. Dynamics 365. Thirty years, one long story.

I am a senior solution architect. I started out at Damgaard — the maker of the software that became Axapta and, later, Microsoft Dynamics 365 — and I have spent three decades watching people actually work with it. What I write here are stories from those years: what genuinely makes a working day lighter, and where the software still gets in the way. Today I work as a solution architect at soluvine and write here in my own name.

Where I stand

I work as a senior solution architect at soluvine, and this site is mine, not theirs. So yes — I know these solutions from the inside, and I say so openly rather than pretending to a neutrality nobody has after thirty years.

What you get from me is the other thing, the thing a product page cannot give you: three decades of watching what actually happens after go-live. If a certified solution is not the right answer for your case, I will tell you that too.

Tell me about your working day.

Not the architecture diagram — the day. Where people type things twice, where documents go missing, what everybody has quietly accepted. That conversation is usually where the real answer is.
